Is there a 2006 series 2 dollar bill? And also will there be a 2009 series 2 dollar bill since we now have a new Secretary and Treasurer.

Thanks

Yes, there is a 2006 $2 with the Escobedo-Paulson Sigs.

They do produce $2s for circulation, but I don't know if they will for the new series. But, most likely, though they will and there will be a series 2009/2008 $2

I disagree. I can't find any reference to a 2006 series $2 note. I checked the BEP website as well as a few individual websites that give info on BEP production numbers. In the last year I've handled over 2000 $2 bills and I've never seen a series 2006. As far as I know the most recent $2 is a series 2003A.
