Looks as though I might have the NC5 going by the repaired Y the smaller pointed 1 the repaired fraction 1/1000 and Retained Cud over United States if I'm wrong let me know what it actually is if you can. Thanks

Not NC-5, and it doesn't have the inverted U (only comes on 218 and 219) and it doesn't have a corrected fraction. What you have is S-224. It is the only variety that has the point of leaf to the left of the center of the R. And the fraction is 1/1 00.

Thank you conder101 see that's the kind of feedback I was looking for. You are absolutely correct about the inverted U I had another coin in mind at the time lol. As for the the leaf left of R I have no way to confirm either way since ther are only 2 examples ever found and can only imaging for one of the 2.
These are from Walter Breens encyclopedia and the only imaging I can find. 1 question since I haven't had an opportunity to look does the 224 have the Retained Cud I know there are others just don't know their numbers
. Thanks

There are three NC-5's now. Soory should have also given you a feature on the obv that knocked out the NC-5 as well. On the obv of NC-5 (Shared by S-218, 219 and NC-2) the wave of the hair below the E in LIBERTY is between the upright and te center of the E. On your coin it is below the left foot of the E. If you mean the Retained Cud on the rev no 224 does not have it, it is only on NC-5.
