hokiefan_82 Pillar of the Community United States 3652 Posts	Posted 03/25/2022 02:31 am The Philadelphia mint did not use the P mintmark on nickels until 1980, other than for the 35% silver "wartime" nickels of 1942-1945. So, this is just a 1940 nickel from the Philadelphia mint. Member of SPMC, FCCB, ANA and ANS.
