I also just picked this up because I fancied my chances at a high grade. Mirror surfaces and unbroken beautiful shiny lustre. What grade do you give it?

Although 1972 silver 10 Francs are relatively common, I have never seen them in below MS-60 condition. This issue was never in general circulation in France.

Because of this, coins in the MS-61 to 64 range do not have much more value above the grade of an MS-60 example.

Yes I think it will only be MS63 or MS64 after reviewing it a bit more, and so not worth the grading fee, even if I do like it!

Looks MS-64 to me.
