Recently I attented the Fun show in Fl, anacs evaluated my coins and promised or assured me they were various MS conditions and charged me 300.00 in grading and Flat out lied and sent them all back as AU or problematic coins. The whole reason I go 2 the show is to get a Fairly accurete assesment before submitting and feel anacs lied just 2 get my money and now wan't too hide behind the contract what a scam.I dont have a problem with fair grading but don't like being lied to by anacs just too get my money and send my coins back undergraded then hide behind their clauses and crap, be very carefull anacs flat out plays games!!

Welcome to the forum bunzoidio. What you are telling us is very unfortunate, and there certainly isn't anything I can say or do to ease your frustration. I would however be interested in the coins that they graded for you. Can you show us some closeups of the coins?

High resolution photos can sometimes show things that you will not see with the coin in hand. Cameras typically do not lie. Maybe we can help shed some light on why they were given the grade that they were. Regardless of what someone tells you in a booth, to me you still have to trust your own skills prior to submitting. Lots of us have sent in coins that were absolutely untouched only to be body bagged and leave us scratching our heads.

I'm sorry to tell you this but ANACS did NOT lie to you. What you got was a free opinion of your coins made under non-ideal viewing conditions and they will tell you that there is no guarantee that the coins, when viewed by someone else under the proper conditions, will come back with the same opinion that you receive at the show. Also anyone will tell you that you can take a coin and submit it multiple times and get back multiple different grades. A TPG service opinion is not carved in stone. You are saying they lied because one grader looked and said Unc, and another looked and said AU. Sorry but people can have different opinions.
Rest in Peace

Yeah, so much for so-called professionals. Like cops, they'll say anything to get you to sign on the dotted line.
