Hello, I have been collecting forever, but never thought to sort my coins by denomination and country. I am in Canada and there is not many folders specifcally for Canadian coins.
I have had the Whitman blue albums in the past, the ones where you press the coin in the hole and then the type where you pull out the clear slider cover and put your coins in. These are okay, but not as pleasing to my eye.
I came across a box of Uni-Safe (brown) coin albums. Some are older and you can see that they had some green residue left over. So I recycled those.
There is 2 generations at least of these Uni-safe albvums. Some have the Unisafe embossed on the cover, they are newer. The others do not have the same cover and are from the 70's. The 70's ones are now recycled.
My question to you all, are these newer UniSafe albums safe to use? I will keep anything of higher value in a 2x2 to be safe.
Thank you for reading and any comments / suggestions.
To CCF , Just saying ; On the newer albums that say Uni-safe , just by the name itself one would think they are safe for all coins . But look them up on-line just to make sure .
