Not really sure what to think of this one. Would it even qualify for a grade because of all the residue on the reverse?

Ahh, this must be the one in your set ... Now I see the no mintmark . As to the grade, most likely an XF-45 for me. A good long soak in some 100% acetone should help remove the residue with a wooden toothpick to shove that stuff off.

Agree EF-45 sharpness. What's that gunk on the reverse? And are those scratches in the left reverse field?

I'm not totally sure what the gunk is, but it seems like it will come off fairly easily. Not a coin I would buy because of the gunk, but this one was given to me by a friend.
Not sure on the scratches. They are only on the field of the coin and don't pass through the design, so I thought maybe some sort of die issue. but they sure look like scratches now. Oh well

Try a bath in Acetone to see if the gunk comes off. Then take new photos for grading.
