If you don't mind my asking, what did it cost for this 10lb bag, and how much was shipping for it? I'm always leary of buying a bulk purchase, but those could make it worth while.

The total was around 91.00 including shipping...there were a lot of tokens and Bimetallics in this lot...My wife immediately confiscated anything that had animals on it,I know she took the aussie coin with a platypus on it..lol

bulk coins are well worth it for a family project!

I hope this isn't against forum rules, but,I got them from Blackmountaincoins.com.....very fast shipping and nice mix

You paid $91 and those are the best coins? That mirrors my experience as well, but I do not think I got a good value. I have purchased bulk coins from that same seller, and others, and they all have this in common: the significant percentage of small denomination coins in each bag which added alot of weight and very little value. I don't know what am I going to do with these EU pennies, UK 1 and 2 pence, 10 cent Mexican coins and other little coins that you can't even spend in their countries of origin and have zero numismatic value here.

If anyone likes these small denomination modern currency coins just reply here and let me know and I can send you 5 pounds or more real cheap.

I did get a lot of 1800 and early 1900 coins in that lot,the ones I posted Were the ones I liked the most....also I add in entertainment value when I buy Bulk, sorting through these coins is a lot of fun, unless you think you going to get rich (which you wont)!

I never really thought about it since I didn't think anyone would be interested. Maybe $2 per pound (or less, make me an offer). These are Euro cents, British 1 and 2 new pence, Australia 10 and 20 cents, Thai 1 baht and Mexican 10 cents.

For the regular bags of world coins from which these have been culled, I will sell for $5 a pound.
