This week at Colonial Acres, they have up for auction a 2022 Proof like set. It's listed as an 'Error' because the loonie is flipped. Where the remainder of the coins show the reverse, the Loonie is showing The Queen (obverse)

I agree a mistake - but hardly an error.?

I guess you could call it a packaging error.
Not something I would pay a premium for.

Not an error. A dealer trying to make something from nothing.

PL set collectors love that kind of thing. You can see them in shows checking set by set trying to find one. Some "errors", like coins in different positions or wrong coins in the set sell quite well.

Note that because of the size of the pocket in the package, it is easy to flip smaller coins - so don't pay a premium for those.

It went for a fair amount, and above the estimates, but I was more surprized by what the '67 gold plated PL set went for. Wow! But beauty and worth often are in the eye of the beholder (consumer).
