In any case, these sorts of coins were never intended for circulation, and thus should always be found in MS++ condition. Standard metal piedforts and usually struck in quantities of 100 to 1000, the off metal strikes scarcer. Piedfort off metal strikes in silver or gold are rare, usually numbering at around five to ten examples only. MS-64.
