1951 Canadian Nickel , What Denotes The DC -29?

I have a nice 1951 and I see some have a DC -29 designation . Please explain..

I believe DC-29 denotes a Specimen Proof.
What you have is a business strike.

DC-29 is a trial coin struck on a planchet made of chrome plated nickel, your coin is just nickel. DC-29s are also well struck, cameo specimen quality coins unlike yours. A DC-29 will have a blue hue due to its plating.
