Hi. I haven't asked a question in a forum yet, but this particular dime has me puzzled as I have never seen anything like it./ I assume quickly that it is PMD, but the back of the dime looks flat and undamaged as far as impact could go. Looks like a mound on the forehead, but the whole image is still visible. I have no clue what is going on here. Found this dime in a roll of pennies from my bank. Thanks to anyone that can help.
Oh ok! Thank you very much. I never realized that could cause such a massive solid bubble and maintain the image! lol. Nice to know! Thank you for prompt reply!
For future reference, please crop your photos. It makes them easier to study and also helps you to keep the byte size smaller, which allows you to more easily meet the photo size limitations.
