I revisited this thread and a number of others re: E-Z-est, and picked up a container. Before I tackle any of my commems, I thought I would practice (experiment?) with some less valuable silver coins; a number of weeks ago I acquired a group of unopened 1963 Proof Sets and found all of FHD's and most of Quarters with toning / tarnish issues, obvious candidates for my first cleaning attempts: Here's a 'before' and 'after' of one quarter and an 'after' of a Half Coincidentally, I'm working on an ANACS submittal and am considering submitting one of my untouched 63 FHD's for grading & conservation -- all of the submittals will be eligible for ANACS conservation services -- to see what the professionals come up with.
