I was wondering where this coin is from and any other information about it, possible value etc. My father (who is 76) sold papers as a boy and a soldier returning to Australia from WW2 threw it to him for payment of a newspaper.
, Picture is a little small. The coin is a late Roman AE3 of the Emperor Constantine II 337-340 AD, reverse is two soldiers on either side of a standard each holding a spear and resting on a shield. Mint mark looks like Sirmium.
