This has been setting on my shelf for a while and ready to put in the X Files but wanted to know what the community thought it was first. I posted a Dime some months ago that came back as a Collar Clash and I'm wondering if you think this is that as well. Thank you.

I see a Misaligned Die but I don't see any sign of a Collar Clash.

Thanks Jimmy. Whilst I look at that Dime again a little closer it actually had some reeding on the edge that this one cent doesn't. Thanks for the confirmation.

You won't really see a collar clash on a non-reeded coin like quarters or dimes. The collar on those coins resulted from a mis-aligned die (like your cent here) but the die hits the collar that has the reeds on it are to form the reeds on the coin - but when the die hits it, the die takes on the impression of the reeds as well and then are struck onto the top of the coin.

I see a minor MAD on the obv and a nasty fingerprint on the rev and maybe remanence of a die clash by the date. It is a spender IMHO.
