$983. Thinking this one is unlikely to straight grade, but who cares, it's a draped bust dime and I love draped bust dimes. Thoughts? Thanks!

Would it not grade due to the black lines being scratches? That's the only reason I can see and can't tell if they're scratches or not.

Okay beyond that this is exactly what an original example of early American silver coinage should look like. The detail at the center of the obverse is amazingly strong (close to AU) especially relative to the reverse rim area. I really think this is an XF+ piece on a technical grade. The market grade might well be XF Details but the scratches(?) aren't that distracting on this piece.

PCGS grade this cleaned, scratched piece straight at XF45 so you never know what the coin gods will say.

darn shame about the scratches as this would be healthy example

EF-45 details, even with the scratches it's a nice piece.
