Hello,

I have 10 of these that I got from my grandfather quite a while ago and was wondering if someone could provide an opinion of the grade. Here is a pic of the front and back of one for example. I feel like they are all roughly in the same condition but obviously I'm by no means confident in saying that otherwise I wouldn't be asking for an opinion lol. Is this something that folks would send in to PCGS? Thanks in advance!

Easier to grade the high points of the Britannia design (obverse), than the reverse, because they are all wide and there is many of them on the reverse, all of the same height above the fields.

good EF (British grading)

I have yet to see an example of the British Trade dollar, in very worn condition. They must have been mostly used as bullion.

I'm not sure this one is genuine. The 2 in the date does not look correct. Can you provide larger photos?

@IndianGoldEagle, sorry but I completely missed your post until now. Hopefully this photo is workable. I think that I'm actually getting better at taking pics of coins lol. I'd be surprised if it isn't genuine given how long my grandfather had them in his possession from living in Hong Kong when he was much younger. I'm guessing that it's likely been over 80 years since he first acquired them but he passed away at the ripe old age of 102 the better part of a decade ago. Appreciate your opinion!

It looks much better in this close up photo. I see the coin as an AU-58.
