Hi,

I brought this 1910 500 Reis coin for £6 it was in a bunch of low value coins. Can someone give me an idea of the grade, also Numista has this as a 0.835 silver however the NGC website states it's 0.917 silver does anyone know what the composition is.

Thanks in advance

I'd say around F details (reverse severely scratched/cleaned).

Heaven scratching on the reverse. Lots of detail is lost on the reverse. Obverse looks much better in terms of retaining the details of the dude on the coin. It is definitely cleaned. I don't really know about the percentage of the silver in the coin.

I completely agree with Coinfrog on the grading.
