Hi all,

I think I have just found me first ever overdate variety but need some help.
https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces295.html

Numista lists 2 varieties 1924/11 and 1924/14. I am pretty sure I can see the 1 underlying the 2 but can't make out the second number as there appears to be nothing to see. I am leaning towards 14 as it's possible the 4 could align with the previous 4 whereas if it was an underlying 1 I would think there would be some evidence. Would appreciate your learned input.

Thanks

Should be the 1924/14 overdate as only the "1" in the original date would have to be changed in the die. Thus no change to the "4" and also of course not to the "19"

Thanks Eligius. That makes perfect sense now you explain it.
