Normal cent, however 1984 P and D issues have a couple each of some pretty strong reverse doubled dies along with gobs of minor doubled dies. When you find one of the 1984 P or D DDR's that are the more major ones you will know by the R of America being split tailed...a clear split (serrifs and all) the C of America (strong doubling) pretty noticeable extra thickness throughout almost all reverse lettering (and especially e pluribus) and ON of ONE will show a clear snap back thick fuzzy doubling (class 6?).
In my experience the 1984 DDR's are well maybe not plentiful but its fairly common for me to find one or 2 (the minor ones) in every couple bank boxes of cents. The good strong DDR's thats another story...have found 2 of the strong 1984 DDR's and 4 of the strong 84 D DDR's in roughly 240,000 cents.
Overlooked variety as most 1984's get their obverse scrutinized closely by even new roll hunters - it pays to check all 1984 cent reverses their not mined as extensively.
Keep hunting you will find them.
