It looks like extreme Die Deterioration but weighs at 5.5g is this some form of PMD? It has normal looking reeding for the amount of circulation its seen.

@dec, being underweight and having that dimpled surface makes me think that this coin has been exposed to a corrosive environment, perhaps being immersed in acid. When you look at the edge, does it look like the copper core has been eaten away?

Dipped in corrosive or buried in dirt then cleaned?

Yep, that would be my guess too - this coin had spent a lot of time in a caustic environment, whether in the soil or dipped in vinegar or acid is hard to tell.

Do I need a better picture of the reeding? We still going with acid damage? What's your thoughts?

Acid damage. Even in a cup holder if something like Coke was stilled on it, ithe coin would look similar to this. Spend it and move on.
