Hi all,

I've been sporadically posting about trying to start collecting circulated commemorative coins, following in the illustrious footsteps of Nickelsearcher, Not Mint to Be, and Worn out, among others.

This is the first one I bought in pursuit of this set! Or I suppose bought and kept... this one - http://goccf.com/t/403567 - was bent so it went back.

What grade would you give it? The faint lines that show up in the pictures do not really appear in hand.

This is probably my favorite coin in the collection.

I would also go AG-03, but with a "Details" qualifier. To my eyes, the coin has been mechanically cleaned in its past - the many straight lines are a clue.

Technical grade is AG03 and I agree with commems that it looks like the coin has had a prior cleaning.

The Lexington-Concord example is one of the classic silver series that wears into a beautiful coin, the devices and legends simply wear at a uniform level leading to an eye appealing final result.

Here is mine - PCGS AG03

Thanks for the insight everyone! I had it at a technical grade of AG-3 also, so that's what's going on the 2x2. Nickelsearcher and Commems, thanks for pointing out the cleaning lines... a bit disappointing, but these almost literally do not show up at all without a picture, so I'm going to be holding onto this one unless a much better example comes along.

Also, always a treat to see one of your circulated examples, Nickelsearcher!
