Hard to see any marks on it at all. Any guesses on grades and if its worth submitting? Its one of my favorite coins in my collection.

Nice coin!

My eyes are drawn to the off-color areas on the badger's body. Can you tell if the color is rub/wear or something else? Does the luster break over those areas when the coin is rotated in hand?

The luster does not break over the body. It might be slight wear on the ribs area of the badger. The dark colors cannot be seen with the naked eye. I think its just the way my terrible lighting hit those spots and the bad picture skills I have.

Is it just me, or does this coin not look like it was gold-plated?

It's just the dumb lighting in my room. It's nice lustery silver.

As I suspected it could be.
