The shape reminds me of a Lesher dollar. Can you share some history behind the piece?

I don't have much info...
Stockholms Angslups Aktie Bolag is the name of the company, and was formed by JG Soderberg from almost all of the other ferry companies around 1860?. Issued from 1868-1884 in zinc, copper and brass, with 3 different obverse dies. Round and octagon, denominations of 8, 10, 12, 13, 15, 20, 25 and 50 Ore.

Reverse is blank except for the makers mark, C.C. Sporrong & Co, Stockholm

Interesting token! The shape is intriguing, I wonder at the purpose for that. Obviously the token was handed to a conductor, and not put in a machine...due to stamped denominations.
I also like those clouds and bolts...sorta like Thor's fists.
