Lovely coins! I think the farther back we go with our collections, the greater the risk someone has fiddled around with the coins (Details).
It's all part of the history.

Apart from the changing portraits, what is also "funny" to see if how the Guldens keep shrinking throughout the decades. From 30 mm in the 1820's and 1830's down to 25 mm in 2001. Not to mention the shenanigans with lowering and lowering the silver contents, until it is completely gone by 1968.
