Why change the rules in the middle of the game? The fewer the people that advance, the better their odds.

Your contest so your rules, but I agree keeping the rules the same is a good pathway. For your 20K contest, you could do it by percentages so that it doesn't matter if 2 or 200 participate.

Completely up to you. I am a little surprised there weren't more entries but, as Spence said, it's your contest so just do what you're most comfortable with!

This is your contest, your timeline and your rules. You can restate any of them in any manner you wish - except IMO the rules for Round 1 which had already began. edit for spllgening
