Nice coins Dorado & Muddler! 
1926 was a funny year for UK coins with most denominations having two versions - with the original 1911-25 portrait and with the later Modified Head. It can be hard to tell which is which when the coins are heavily worn, but coins in VF or better look different, and the designer's initials are smaller and further to the right on the 'modified' coins, and often virtually indistinguishable.
