Nice ones!

My 1684 and 1685 contributions had planchet defects, but this one takes the cake, 1679 Poland szostak:

How-Far-Back-Can-We-Go?-Seventh-Edition!-Ended-At-1380-Waiting-On-1379

I guess the quality control guy forgot his glasses that day?

I'm still a few weeks from being able to contribute again, but I enjoy looking at this thread every day. All the szostaks (with more or less charming planchet defects), thaler fractions, and various English denominations, wonderful! But that 1682 ½ thaler takes the prize, tdziemia.

Same here! In fact, I only have one more coin (actually, a jeton) to contribute, then I'll be purely an observer from that point on .

Here is a 6 Kreuzer from Austria (Vienna Mint) dated 1677:

The reddish color in the pictures is an artifact of the poor lighting I used to use.

What a great wildman! That is one of my favorite numismatic design elements.

Here is a 6 Kreuzer from one of the Austrian City States (Olmutz). It is dated 1674 AD.
