maybe they could get someone to donate a coin, melt it and pour it into a mini-ball mold, and shoot the guy with it. (just kidding, I know that is too harsh and will invoke responses about my insensitivity, besides I cannot promote violence of any kind on this forum....no matter how badly it is needed!)

Wow! A little passionate here are we? It's great to see the people here still know right from wrong and are glad to see crooks caught.
Sadly you guys are probably right about his "defense". I doubt he will get up and say "My mom was great, my dad was great, I had everything I needed when I was a kid, I'm just a greedy SOB."

At least we can hope he'll be out of the loop for a while...

Na, he's a victim. It wasn't his fault. I'm doing everything right and playing by the book. I'm the problem. I'll take the fall for this guy kind of like the bailouts were paying for.

the defense will probably go like this: when he was very young his father took him to a coin show, he saw a coin that he was obsessed with because it was so shiney but his father would not buy it for him in spite of his pleas and whining. He could think of nothing else and it became a "disease" that he caught at the coin show. But now that he has finally been able to get it out in the open (he subconsciouly wanted to be caught) he has accepted Jesus and is going to be a differnt person. Also he will crusade for the closing of all coin shows to prevent such instances in the future, plus he will sue the person he stole the coins from for being so lax as to allow him to steal them, contributing to his disease.

Funny but that is exactly what's going to happen.

Yea that is funny. I do not feel sorry for this guy, I hope they put his face all over the news. What a looser, I hate a thief.
