I want to get a grade for this piece and also a more precise description.

As I understand it there are three different time periods that it could possibly be but I'm not sure what they are. Apparently, the Doge Mocenigo ruled in the three periods that this could have most likely been minted in.

I know these coins have both KM and FR designations which are also unknown at this point.

The sort of coin mentioned in Shakespeare's Merchant of Venice.

Krause 1700-1800 lists them as Zecchinos of 3.5 grams, which is the Ducat weight.

The flat area about 1/3 from the bottom of the staff could be a strike from a banker's test punch.
Otherwise, a rather attractive ducat.
good EF.

I wish I could help a little more about the possible date period, but I need to know a lot more myself.

I searched Google Images:
'Alvice Mocenigo Zecchino', and found lots of pictures, which may help in the identification task.

Looks EF-45 or maybe AU-50.
