Hello fellow coin collectors! I'm interested in the US Women's Quarter's Program. My friends and I have been compiling a list of women we'd love to see on these coins. My question is does anyone know when they will announce the 2024 Women's Quarters?

... Quote: The Citizens Coinage Advisory Committee (CCAC) These are the peeps who approve the designs for US coins...try reaching out to them to understand the design selection process. KK

I am guessing around march 2023 based on this year's announcement.

I received a response from the CCAC re: the timeframe when they will announce the 2024 Women's Quarters Honorees and then which meeting/timeframe might review the 2024 reverse candidate designs. As far as the 2024 honorees and the design portfolios, it is anticipated that announcements pertaining to both will occur in the first quarter of calendar year 2023 upon presentation of the design portfolios for consideration by the Citizens Coinage Advisory Committee (CCAC). Here is the portion of the response related to the question:

I have a question about the American Women Quarter's Program. I hope this is the proper place to write this question. Will the mint have an "unveiling" so to speak of specific quarters? And if yes, is there a way for a member of the general public to attend? I would love to go to Pauli Murray's quarter ceremony, if there is such a thing. This is the person I was hoping would be chosen for a 2024 coin and I'd love to celebrate it! Thanks everyone!

I'm calling Uncle on all these quarters! For 67 years there were two designs, and one of those was for one year only. Then over the next 26 years there have been/will be 132! I think my math is correct (56 state/territory, 56 parks, 20 women) ENOUGH ALREADY! And on a more selfish level, the one design for 32-98 fit into ONE Dansco album! For these others, I need two for the states, one for territories, two for the parks and one for the women. If they average $40 a piece that is another $240 just to house them.

Quote: ...there have been/will be 132! Dan, I don't mean to cut you in your already open sore, but you forgot the 2021 "Crossing the Delaware" quarter; that makes it 133.
