What would be the grade of this 1946 dollar. I think somewhere EF/AU.

Also it has some spots on it, should I clean this? And how to do that.

The only cleaning you should do is to soak it in acetone for 24 hours.
As far as grade, it has a lot of marks and a dinged rim.
I would say EF45

EF-45...AU-50 tops. Probably cleaned at some point....

AU50 with som slight rim ticks .
Quite typical for how these are
encountered .

EF45 for me. Hairlines are pretty soft, even for a '46 where hairlines on dies were not very defined. Nice circulated piece. But a better date for sure...
