I am quite interested in these and would love to hear about anything you guys know about them. Production numbers or any information would be very helpful, as google has given me no luck and I'm too lazy to buy a book.

The experimental R and S notes were a test of the wear qualities of currency stock- R was regular currency stock and S was special stock. They were released by the Treasury on June 20, 1944 and all are 1935-A series notes with Julian-Morgenthau signatures. 1,184,000 of each were issued, R had serial numbers S70884001C-S72068000C and S had serial numbers S73884001C-S75068000C.
