Hi Everyone,
I am new to the site. I stumbled upon it while researching coins. I have a couple of questions regarding a 1909 VDB coin that I have.
It appears to me that it has possible doubling and a strike through on the reverse? Is it part of his Coat? Also, should the coin be sent off to be graded? Thank you in advance

Not really seeing any doubling in these photos.

The "strike through" on the reverse is actually a lamination, nice find! However, it isn't worth sending for grading.

F-12, simple and fairly common delamination. Might be worth a buck to the right collector.
