After seeing CaptJeffWorthFL's post the other day, I started checking my 2022 nickels for the Class VI doubled die he recently discovered. To my surprise, one of the first coins I checked had a Class VI DDO, however, it does not appear to be the same one as his since the extra thickness on the serifs is not as strong.

Here is my coin compared to a normal nickel as well as compared to Jeff's

Nice find!

What sucks is that, more likely than not, Wiles probably did not note any die markers from CaptJeff's coin and it will be very difficult to differentiate these two dies or (if they aren't different dies) confirm that they're the same one.

I agree with TAN, in order to differentiate those Dies we have to use high forensic software which are very spice prices. I hope one day will be more affordable.

Nice find as well but there appear to be some similarities between both of yours, based on your comparison images. Yours might be a slightly later stage.
Here's an image showing what I'm referring to on your coin.
The "die Bumps" are what appear similar on both coins.

@petespockets compare the relative thickness of the foot of the I and N in IN. Definitely different dies
