Hello everyone.

When roll/$2 hunting at my local Bank of America, I noticed an old style $100 FRN in the stack. I asked to see it, and it turned out to be a series 1934 A. She traded it with a standard C-note.

No tears, minor folding and wrinkling. I don't know much about grading currency but in coin terms I'd give it a VF (I guess?) (I will post a pic as soon as possible.)

Does this have any significant value over face? I know many people might compare its value to my financial situation, so I will add that the crisis is hitting me too, and while preserving this bill won't break the bank, it's not easy for me to forego spending it.

Thanks!

Probably doesn't have too much of a premium...my guess would be ~$125 or so at best.
Rest in Peace

I would keep it until you need money to buy an old coin or note. Then you can tell your wife "It's OK honey, I sold some stuff from my collection to buy this."

Yeah.. not that significant of a premium... I guess you can still keep it if you don't need to use it.

Thanks for your input. I will hold onto it now, I guess. I'll patrol ebay for comparable notes.
