Check for varieties; 1901-P double die reverse, 1900-O/CC, etc

Never accuse anyone of something unless you have solid proof. The employee may claim an offer was made and misinterpreted. Unless there is something in writing, there is no record of an offer made.

I agree, false accusations are a dangerous thing. If you accuse him and he didn't do it, he could instantly lose his job no questions asked. Nothing against the OP, but making fast decisions based off of said information on a public forum doesn't seem like the wisest thing to do.

you can't complain to his boss unless you have written proof? Why?

I'd say it would not be good to go to the boss and accuse the dealer of a malpractice, but it may be good to say "I heard" that he lowballed someone. Have the boss get his own proof, just put in an idea to plant the seed.

Nevertheless it should be taken care of one way or another, this is just not good for the coin community.
