2011-Australian-20c-International-Year-Of-Volunteers-Coin-With-Odd-Ink-Marks.-Is-It-Real?

Good afternoon,
I am new to the hobby of Coin Collection and I am in need of some advice.
I came across this 2011 20 cent - International Year of Volunteers coin. It has odd colouring on the reverse side.
I tried looking for coloured coins produced in 2011 that resembled this shape and colour combination, but have not been able to match it.
Is it real?

Hi Maggiemoo and

It's called PMD (Post Mint Damage), so in other words, it's damage that has occurred after it has left the Mint.
Looks as though someone has taken to it with textas!

Thank you.
It can now go into my husbands money box. It was the shield shape that had me wondering.
