Went on a trip to an out of town meat market we visit once a year to stock up the freezer. Stopped by the only elementary school in the town and here is our take.

Nice again. Making up for lost time. What is the coin next to the Canadian cent?

G'Day Richard I noticed with Mike his rotation on schools is about six months you could be cycling back to these area's too soon or there's some one else hitting the same schools your detecting or maybe you should broaden the area your searching
this is just a thought so can this idea help increase your haul

There are 11 others within a five mile radius of me that have detectors. Those are the ones I know about from a now defunct club I was a member of. Finding an unsearched area within a reasonable distance is not easy..

O.K. yes I see your point and the problem you have, have you tried under the stands at the local sports grounds, around canteens, demolished old houses, building sites that aren't fenced and activity parks maybe old fair grounds, have you looked up your town history records maybe something in there will give you a hint it could also get you one step ahead of you rivals.
I wish you luck Richard

Wow Richard 11 others. That's some stiff competition. There are 3 others here that I know of. Glad we have alot of schools and such here to share. Not too many places around here that haven't been searched at one time or another. We have 2 new schools opening up within 5 minutes of the house and 2 new parks getting ready to be built. On park will be within walking distance and the other within 5 minutes of the house. Can't wait.

From your results I would say that the cream rises to the top. I only know of 1 old timer in my area that I ran into one of my first trips out. I imagine i'll discover more with time.
