Tough to judge from these, but I'll say VF Details, ED. Looks to have some surface issues there.

On the obverse from 6 to 12 o'clock does the absence of a rim appear to be wear or the way the coin was struck?

Depending upon the opinions given, how would that affect the grade if any?

photos are small to grade from plus remove from any holder when possible. we can see the surfaces that well

maybe VF25

hard to tell with these photos. may be a combination of both. if you look the obverse you will see the coin was struck a little off center

The photos make this coin a bit challenging to grade, but I'll estimate that the coin is in the VF-30 range.

VF. probably environmentally damaged and cleaned.

the absence of a rim on the obverse is how it was struck. the dies were misaligned. this type of "error" is common and generally speaking has little impact on the price. its debatable if it should be called an error. it was within quality control specifications.

hard to tell if the surfaces are nice of not. choice surfaces will have a >10X impact on the price of this coin when compared to environmentally damaged surfaces.

Newcomb-7. Rarity-3. 2-5X premium for the variety.
