cptbilly Pillar of the Community United States 1962 Posts	Posted 09/19/2022 3:08 pm Greetings from the Truckee Meadows ( Sparks ) Interest in this hobby came from my father; he purchased Mint & Proof sets beginning in 1957, my birth year. I did the same for my child beginning in 1993. . .I hope someday my grandchild catches the bug as I did. Am a moderator on a university specific message board so let me say thank you in advance to the admins and moderators of this community as I am aware of the work, patience, and hours it takes to keep forums like this up and running. t brief glance, it looks like answers to most (all ?) of my numismatic queries can be found here. As I browse through the RedBook and spy items that I might want to add to my collection, it's very helpful to search the archive of threads related to the item(s), e. g., 50th Anniversary Kennedy's from 2014.
