got a role of 1968 BU silver quarters and this coin was a little nicer, was wondering on a grade estimate. also the photos make the coin look like it has more chatter when its something with the die, PL coins have the same thing on the shoulder and neck/face of some of them.

Same type of chatterlike on PL 1963 dollar I forget the name but its something to do with the die.

Tough call from these darker photos. Does actually look PL with Cameo, but the chatter is hard to get past. Probably much better in hand...Nice outer rim toning on the reverse though I must say...

Pics too dark to see surface details clearly.

I believe the markings on the Queen's neck and shoulder are referred to as Shoulder burn and is quite prevalent in the 1967 25 cent coins.
It would be caused by the lack of metal flow to this area, so the die doesn't completely fill, the roughness you see is actually burnishing marks that were on the planchet before striking.

Cheers, Bill

OGW means original wrapping or wrapping, means there from MS coins from the bank that havent been open so they look really nice and normally have super attractive toning.

@2rtgah678
Did you make this up yourself?
OGP means Original Government Packaging.
You are the only one to use OGW, and it's nonsensical.
