Raw Currency Listed As Graded On Ebay

t25135 Valued Member United States 105 Posts	Posted 10/13/2022 1:06 pm Does anyone know what the primary reasoning is for it being against ebay policy to have a listing of a raw note (or coin for that matter) where the seller provides a grade or reference to a grading company? Here's an example of a recently ended auction below: https://www.ebay.com/itm/1953992512...9SR_DhtaT6YA At worst, this seems like click bait to me and I'd guess that it's more likely that the seller just copied the title of a previously listed item that actually was graded since on the "about the item" section it is correctly marked as ungraded and uncertified. I don't know how anyone would take a look at the pics of a raw coin or note and still think that it was a TPG item. Just curious to know about this. Thanks in advance. Report this Post to the Staff

The reason being anyone could put whatever grade on a listing in the hope that someone not knowing enough would purchase it. In this case it is too late to remove as the listing has ended. John1, sorry for being dense but I'm not following you lol.
