Guys I believe this is a penny that has possibly been resurfaced. It depends on the camera with a flash or not, possibly shows copper finish. It definitely not steel and I don't believe it is aluminum. I can use your expertise, thanks.

It is the zinc core of a cent that has had the copper removed.

Most likely, if the color on the larger images is accurate.

With no loss of weight, and a tinge of copper showing, I would go and say that this coin has spent a long time outside in the weather getting bleached by the sun.
