I wonder if APMEX even has this in their inventory right now. The RCM is dying to get one of these out their doors (I think only about 20 has left) so they're probably giving it to APMEX at spot, then APMEX makes a nice profit out of the 5% of $3.1Mil **Investment-wise, I think this would be seriously idiotic. First of all, where is the demand? A lot of people whill oohhh and aaahh but seriously who has the money? Second, where does anyone have the place to put it? I'm sure Whitman will come out with an Album for those and include any of those with Mint Errors.
Hope they keep the amount minted to a minimum. I just ordered ten.

Now that's a 'low-mintage' coin!  I'd buy that in a minute if I could.... "Where do you put it?" Uh, let's see, BANK VAULT, cough cough... It wouldn't be that 'odd' for a well-off person to have 220 lbs. of gold in a bank vault, so why not have it in one piece? (aside from the loss in sale 'liquidity' versus common smaller increments) |
