This is a Canadian large cent, minted from 1911-20, so I moved it.
I think it shows signs of tampering, given the very deep marks on the obverse, as well as evidence on the reverse from what I can see.

Thank you for moving it. I had no clue where it was from. Ok now I see it in the catalog of world coins. I found it in a mix bag of coins did not know what was going on. But I think your right with the rev. Looks like someone might have had a good time on a grinder.

This coin cannot be from 1911.
It has "DEI GRA" (by the grace of God) on it.
1911 Large cents were "godless".
It must be from 1912 to 1920.

Kurt, I missed that, too. And I just got thru stuffing one of my hloders with coins from three Monarchs.
