Lots of older dates but I just don't know much about them and was going to leave them alone, but remembered the 1946 D/horizontal D so I bought that roll. Didn't find any of those but this RPM-004 was in there along with a late die stage RPM-005. I wondered what the RPM-004 was worth so looked on ebay and found just one for sale, in BU GEM, for... $241.44. Whoa, now that's real money for an RPM not even in the Cherrrypickers' Guide. Anyway, is that seller just in outer space or is this thing actually worth more than a couple bucks to whomever it is out there that collects Jefferson varieties? 1946-D/D Jefferson nickel - RPM-004 Report this Post to the Staff

Not a nickler myself but have found BIN prices can be all over the place. Words of encouragement are one of the major food groups. We need to consume them regularly to thrive and grow.
