Hi
This coin was purchased by a friend of mine and there seems to be what looks like and arrow printed on the coin. The person that it was purchased off wanted to trade the coin back but he said no thanks. It came out of a mint roll along with another coin that is normal without this mark is there anyone that could shed some light as to what it might be, is it just someone drawing on the coin?

Just someone drawing on the coin.

There is no way that could happen during the striking of the coin.
It has been added afterwards, you can create your own with a fine marker.

I have a similar coin with an arrow in my collection that I purchased off of ebay, maybe 15 years ago. I have seen two others, one sold on ebay shortly after I got mine, and another was sold by Colonial Acres ~5 years ago.

Yours is a bit different Scissel.
The OP coin is a stripe with a dotted arrowhead whereas yours is made up of all dots.
Also yours points to a different area. Just someone having fun with a marker.
