to the forum. After a few decades of filling albums, about 20 years ago I transitioned to being primarily a type collector myself. However you choose to collect, numismatics is a great hobby and this forum is a great place to learn.

I started out as a U.S. type coin collector and now, many years later...

Well, I'm still primarily a U.S. type coin (and currency) collector. I just don't buy as many coins since I've pretty much collected most of the ones that I want (and can reasonably afford).
