Hi all,

Am trying to figure out which Druit I have. The reverse matches this one:

but the obverse is different. I'm not sure how much variation there may be. Possible fake?

Thanks

It looks like the West Friesland variety: https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces3442.html

Yep. Two stacked lions is one of the Frieslands (facing lions is Gelderland).

The privy mark at top changed over the years, so the Numista photo (1737) has a turnip above the VOC monogram, but by 1789 it had changed several times to become a rosette as seen on yours.

Ah, I didn't realise it was a mint mark!
Thanks

It's not a "mint mark" (a mark identifying which mint produced the coin) but a privy mark as tdziemia said. The mark probably identifies the mint master or the engraver.

(A privy mark can indirectly identify the mint, but for a Duit from the Netherlands the issuer and date are usually (always?) sufficient to identify the mint.)
